چکیده

Objective: To evaluate epidermal growth factor receptor and Ki-67 immunohistochemical expression in colorectal adenoma carcinoma cases, to relate their with the available clinicopathological data. Methods: The retrospective study was conducted at Faculty of Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt, from September 2019 October 2020, comprised formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded specimens related cases those carcinoma, who had no previous radiation or chemotherapeutic treatment. Immunohistochemical staining all thecases done using anti-epidermal anti-Ki-67 antibodies. Data analysed SPSS 20.Results: Of 70 20(28.5%) were adenoma; mean age 52.95±13.47 years, male-to-female ratio 1:1. remaining 50(71.5%) carcinoma; 51.08±13.49 1.17:1. Epidermal overexpression significantly villous histopathological type high-grade dysplasia (p<0.05). In growthfactor tumour grade increased pathological stage (p<0.05).Conclusions: Overexpression found be an ominous sign aggressiveness, risk progression carcinoma. Keywords: Antigen, Adenoma, Colorectal neoplasms, Receptors, Carcinoma.

Altered Expression of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) in Glioma

EGFR is a key molecule in cancer cells. EGFR signaling was shown to promote tumor cell proliferation and survival, invasion and angiogenesis and mediate resistance to treatment, including ionizing radiation in preclinical models. We extracted proteins from astrocytoma (III and IV) oligodendroglioma(IV) tumors and normal brain tissues and then evaluated the protein purity by Bradford test ...

human epidermal growth factor receptor expression in colorectal cancer and its relationship with clinicopathological characteristics

background: some recent studies reported human epidermal growth factor receptor (her-2/neu) as a marker that can be used in immunological studies of colorectal carcinoma for predicting the prognosis and the treatment. therefore, we aimed to investigate the frequency of her-2 expression in patients with colorectal cancer, and explore the relationship between clinicopathological prognostic factor...

Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) Gene Mutation Analysis in Adenocarcinoma of Lung, the First Report from Iran

Background and Objective: Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene mutation, especially in exons 18 to 21, is an important predictor of the response rate of lung adenocarcinoma to tyrosine kinase inhibitors. There are variable reports from Asian and European countries, as well as North America, about the frequency of the EGFR mutation in lung adenocarcinoma, yet molecular s...
